Posie: Rosy Little Things is the name of my little a
one-woman production studio that designs and creates
one-of-a-kind handbags, accessories, crochetwear, and
original gifts. I sew, write patterns for, crochet,
and otherwise fashion all products.
Posie Gets Cozy is the name of my blog.
Posie items can be found exclusively on this web site,
which is updated every few months with new products.
It's hard to say when exactly, or even if.
I don't have a specific schedule and usually design
and create products on a whim, which is the only way
I feel my work stays fresh and special. I don't normally
remake things once they've sold out. I often give previews
of what's coming up on the blog,
and give notice before the site is updated, but I can't
manage individual alerts. I'm sorry about that. Checking
the blog pretty regularly is the best way to know when
the shop will be updated with new things.
It’s simple. Just use the “add to cart”
button on the individual item page for each product,
and you’ll be directed to set up payment details
and provide your shipping information through Paypal.
You can also send a check, but I’ll wait for it
to clear before we ship your items, so it might take
a bit longer for you to get your treats. Unfortunately,
I no longer accept Visa or MasterCard.
Sometimes what you order from Posie is one-of-a-kind,
and already finished; sometimes it's few-of-a-kind,
and made when you order. Most orders leave the
studio within 7-10 business days, and can take two days
to a week in transit. I wrap all items in cream-colored
newsprint, closed with a Posie sticker and tied with
aqua seam binding and red-and-white-striped string,
or some special variation thereof for the holidays.
I generally ship USPS priority mail or first class,
unless you request otherwise. Overnight and express
shipping is available by request, and for an extra charge.
Yes. All overseas shipments are sent via USPS and charged
a higher shipping fee depending on location. Fees are
added automatically when you place your order via Paypal.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Unfortunately, due to the fleeting nature of individual
Posie products, fabrics, and styles, as well as the
time involved in making each item by hand, I'm unable
to offer Posie products wholesale to other retailers.
Preferring to keep the collection small and special,
I promise that I am able to offer you excellent quality
at a wonderful price.
I wish I could, but unfortunately I don’t offer
any products other than what is pictured and available
on the web site. Once something is sold, it's unlikely
that it will be duplicated exactly. I am not able to
accept crochet commissions or special projects at this
time. But thanks for asking!
With apologies, probably not. I work really hard to
find unique sources for the work I do, and it is my
steadfast policy to keep certain information to myself.
I'm frequently sharing information over at my blog,
but if you don't find info about what you're looking
for there, chances are good it's just one of those things
I don't share.
Unfortunately, unless products are actually listed in
my web shop, they are unavailable for purchase. When
my studio or home is photographed, frequently older
Posie items that are no longer available or items from
my personal collection make it onto the pages of magazines,
books, or into my own blog. These items are generally
one-of-a-kind pieces that I've kept for myself (or were
made from someone else's pattern, which precludes me
selling them) and not available for sale. The bird mobile
was made many years ago from a free pattern found on
the internet. The slippers are a version of ones found
in Erika Knight's book Simple Crochet. The
stuffed animals are from a variety of patterns from
Japanese craft books, Martha Stewart, and vintage patterns,
and the embroidered samplers are compiled from various
embroidery books and vintage monograms.
I've purchased lots of things that have been photographed
around my house and in my studio, many of them vintage,
and I don't have source information for those things.
Oftentimes they were gifts, antiques, or I just don't
remember. Sorry!
