Santa Lucia Day, celebrated on December 13th, is one
of the most beautiful and traditional Scandinavian holiday
festivals! In the early hours of the morning, the oldest
daughter of the house, followed by her attendants, serves
steaming coffee and saffron buns to her drowsy family.
Dressed in white and wearing a crown of candles, she
brings light and hope to the darkest days of winter,
and marks the start of the Christmas season.
My pattern, which includes full-color instructions
and the dress pattern, will walk you through every step
on your way to making these sweet girls to help celebrate
the season.
